Following up their strong ‘Music Is Life’ EP in April, Dance Spirit now return to Get Physical with another brilliant brace of their tripped out tech house tunes.
The production duo of Christopher Mohn and Reagan Denius are masters of harmony, rhythm and timbre. Their layering of synths and melodies on rolling bottom ends makes for a futuristic sound has taken them to label like Supernature, Rebellion, Superfreq, and others. They’ve been resident DJs in Ibiza, played clubs like fabric and continue to innovate in the studio.
The masterfully cinematic ‘Space Portal To The Heavens’ is a sci-fi track that will send your mind into overdrive. Riddled with freeform little synths that burrow deep, it builds in intensity as rubbery kicks set the groove. Perfectly trippy and freaky, it’s one to make the dance floor get weird in the late night hours.
The second innovative offering is ‘When The Sky Was Opened’, which is built on a wonkier and more unhinged groove. Here intoxicating chords drift about the mix while a burrowing pad keeps things dynamic. It’s a spacious track that will zone you out and take you into new musical realms.
Both tracks here bring Dance Spirit’s trademark intergalactic sound to essential club grooves.
